Throughout Scripture, both the Old Testament and New Testament, God reveals to us our identity in Christ.

Did you know that there are over 300 declarations you can make over yourself regarding your personal identity in Christ?

This is part 3/4 of a 4 part series:

Never, ever underestimate the POWER and LIFE-CHANGING IMPACT when you take God’s Word and SPEAK IT OUT LOUD.

There is POWER in the tongue to SPEAK LIFE or speak death. SPEAK LIFE over yourself and others every single day. Destroy the lies of the enemy, who comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came 2000 years ago to give you and I LIFE AND AN ABUNDANCE OF LIFE.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 18:21

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

John 10:10

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Isaiah 55:11

Suggested Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, as I step into Your Holy presence, standing before You in the Courts of Heaven, I declare and decree by faith that as I release these declarations of my identity in Christ, there will be a hundredfold harvest in my life. I trust that Your Word will bear abundant fruit in my life, today and every day going forward through to eternity.

I also stand on what is written in Ephesians 3 verse 20, that You are the One who is able, through Your mighty power at work within me, to do infinitely more than all I could ever ask or imagine. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!

I bow in awe of Your faithfulness, Your Grace, Your Mercy and Your Unfailing Love, declaring Holy, Holy, Holy are You Lord God Almighty, the Holy One of Israel. May all that I do each day by Your Spirit honor Your holiness and give You and You alone ALL the Glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Part 3 - What I Do In Christ

Faith & Authority

  • I do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)

  • I move mountains by faith in God (Mark 11:23)

  • I resist the devil, and he will flee from me (James 4:7)

  • I overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11)

  • I bind and loose on earth as it is in Heaven (Matthew 18:18)

  • I trample upon snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19)

  • I lay hands on the sick and see them recover (Mark 16:18)

  • I cast out demons in Jesus’ name (Mark 16:17)

  • I speak with new tongues as the Spirit enables (Mark 16:17; Acts 2:4)

  • I command evil spirits to leave in Jesus’ authority (Acts 16:18)

Prayer & Worship

  • I pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

  • I approach God’s throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16)

  • I make my requests known to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6)

  • I ask and receive from my Father (Matthew 7:7–8)

  • I call on the Lord, and He will answer me (Jeremiah 33:3)

  • I worship the Father in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24)

  • I sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude (Colossians 3:16)

  • I pray in the Spirit on all occasions (Ephesians 6:18)

  • I intercede for others with the Spirit’s help (Romans 8:26)

  • I offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1)

Daily Living by the Spirit

  • I walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16)

  • I keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:25)

  • I live by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)

  • I set my mind on things above, not earthly things (Colossians 3:2)

  • I crucify the flesh with its passions and desires (Galatians 5:24)

  • I put to death whatever belongs to my earthly nature (Colossians 3:5)

  • I am renewed in the spirit of my mind (Ephesians 4:23)

  • I put on the new self created in righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24)

  • I am transformed by the renewing of my mind (Romans 12:2)

  • I am filled with the Spirit daily (Ephesians 5:18)

Love & Relationships

  • I love others as Christ has loved me (John 13:34)

  • I forgive others as Christ forgave me (Colossians 3:13)

  • I bless those who curse me (Matthew 5:44)

  • I pray for those who persecute me (Matthew 5:44)

  • I honor others above myself (Romans 12:10)

  • I bear with others in love (Ephesians 4:2)

  • I speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)

  • I encourage others daily (Hebrews 3:13)

  • I serve others humbly in love (Galatians 5:13)

  • I bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2)

Holiness & Purity

  • I present my members as instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13)

  • I flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18)

  • I keep myself from idols (1 John 5:21)

  • I cleanse myself from every defilement of body and spirit (2 Corinthians 7:1)

  • I abstain from sinful desires that wage war against my soul (1 Peter 2:11)

  • I walk as a child of light (Ephesians 5:8)

  • I put on the armor of light (Romans 13:12)

  • I be holy in all I do (1 Peter 1:15)

  • I live a self-controlled, upright, and godly life (Titus 2:12)

  • I keep myself pure as He is pure (1 John 3:3)

Perseverance & Endurance

  • I endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:3)

  • I rejoice in suffering because it produces perseverance (Romans 5:3)

  • I count it all joy when I face trials (James 1:2)

  • I run with endurance the race set before me (Hebrews 12:1)

  • I fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2)

  • I persevere under trial and receive the crown of life (James 1:12)

  • I do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9)

  • I stand firm in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13)

  • I am steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work (1 Corinthians 15:58)

  • I take up my cross daily and follow Him (Luke 9:23)

Mission & Witness

  • I proclaim the excellencies of Him who called me (1 Peter 2:9)

  • I make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19)

  • I baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)

  • I teach others to obey Christ’s commands (Matthew 28:20)

  • I share the Gospel boldly (Acts 4:31)

  • I am always be ready to give an answer for my hope (1 Peter 3:15)

  • I shine like stars in the world (Philippians 2:15)

  • I do good works that glorify my Father (Matthew 5:16)

  • I bear much fruit as I remain in Him (John 15:5)

  • I reconcile others to God as His ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Growth & Transformation

  • I grow in grace and knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:18)

  • I add to my faith goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love (2 Peter 1:5–7)

  • I am equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17)

  • I fan into flame the gift of God in me (2 Timothy 1:6)

  • I stir up my brothers and sisters to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24)

  • I test and approve God’s will (Romans 12:2)

  • I put into practice what I’ve learned, received, and heard (Philippians 4:9)

  • I walk worthy of the calling I’ve received (Ephesians 4:1)

  • I abound in hope by the power of the Spirit (Romans 15:13)

  • I mature into the full stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:13)

Why Not Declare With Fellow Believers?

Do you know that Jesus said “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”? Matthew 18:19

I encourage you to speak with one or more of your brothers and sisters, and proposed that you come together, whether in person or on a video call, and take turns in speaking out these individual declarations over yourselves.

Simply replace the “I have…” with “We have…”

I pray that the Spirit of the Lord will be upon each of you, and each of you will declare, decree and proclaim God’s Living Word over yourselves with a holy boldness and that your individual faith will be stirred and rise up, more than it ever has done before.

Suggested Opening Prayer For Your Gathering
