“Come As You Are” Into The New Heavens & New Earth
This morning I was out on my morning run, listening to my worship playlist on Spotify. A song came on which I had listened to a number of times before, but this time, the Holy Spirit was making me more sensitive to the lyrics.
As I was listening whilst running, the lyrics were really ministering to me, before the Lord then started speaking to me…
The Lyrics of Come As You Are
Come out of sadness
From wherever you've been
Come broken hearted
Let rescue begin
Come find your mercy
Oh, sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal
So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh, wanderer come home
You're not too far
So lay down your hurt
Lay down your heart
Come as you are
There's hope for the hopeless
And all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table
Come taste the grace
There's rest for the weary
Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't cure
So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh, wanderer come home
You're not too far
Lay down your hurt lay down your heart
Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms
Come as you are
There's joy for the mourning
Oh, sinner be still
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal
So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh, wanderer come home
You're not too far
So lay down your hurt
Lay down your heart
Come as you are
Come as you are
Come as you are
Come as you are
As I was listening, the Lord began to speak to me.
Here is what He was saying to me:
My son, I want you to share this song on New Heavens New Earth, along with some Scriptures, to show that ANYONE…
no matter what they have been through…
no matter what trauma they have suffered…
no matter how they have been abused…
no matter how they have been treated by man…
no matter how dark their childhood may have been…
no matter how their own family may have treated them…
no matter how their ex treated them…
no matter how much they may have been hurt by religion and religious people…
no matter how many dark valleys they have walked through with…
no matter how much darkness they have been living in…
no matter what addictions have been devastating their lives…
no matter how much their own family have turned against them…
no matter what they have experienced in relationships…
no matter how much shame they have been feeling…
no matter how much guilt they have been feeling…
no matter for how long they have been feeling condemned…
no matter how far away they have been from wanting to surrender their life to Me
…in My New Heavens and New Earth I am creating, EVERYONE can and will be coming as they are.
NO-ONE is too far gone.
I surrendered My life on that cross to save everyone.
I shed My Blood to be the atoning sacrifice of ALL sins ever committed and that will be committed.
My son Paul, tell My People, COME AS YOU ARE… I am waiting with open arms to welcome them in to My New Heavens and New Earth.
Scriptures
Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.”
Matthew 8:7
The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Psalms 34:17-18
The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem and bringing the exiles back to Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
Psalms 147:3
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
Isaiah 61:1-3
For though he wounds, he also bandages. He strikes, but his hands also heal.
Job 5:18
“Nevertheless, the time will come when I will heal Jerusalem’s wounds and give it prosperity and true peace. I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel and rebuild their towns. I will cleanse them of their sins against me and forgive all their sins of rebellion.
Jeremiah 33:6-8
I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.
Isaiah 57:18-19
Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
Matthew 18:21-22
And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:30-32
When you forgive this man, I forgive him, too. And when I forgive whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christ’s authority for your benefit, so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11
“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
Matthew 6:14-15
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Colossians 3:13
