Are You Ready To Truly Surrender To God’s Will?
THE HARNESS OF THE LORD
There is a fierce operation of the Spirit coming forth in the land today. The Spirit of God is moving mightily by His power. He is beginning to do marvelous things in the earth. This is the day of His preparation, and the Spirit of God is searching out those who are surrendered to Him in all things. This is the hour of His judgment, and He is measuring to the full the hearts of men. The work of God is going forward, and nothing can stop it. Almighty God will fulfill all His Word. His Word shall not return unto Him void, but it shall accomplish that whereunto it is sent. The Spirit of God is moving mightily in the earth, and the Spirit of the Lord is upon His people, anointing them with power. He is calling forth an army that shall march forward in His name.
I SAW THE KING’S CARRIAGE
One night I had a vision. I saw in a vision a large field full of horses, and they were feeding at ease. Then, lo, at the edge of the field I saw a fenced-in area with a corral, and in it were two horses. They were not eating freely as the other horses were, but were being prepared for the harness. They had been broken, and were being trained for the purpose of pulling the King’s carriage. They were disciplined and trained, and they had received much handling from the Master’s hand. Their freedom was limited, but they were under the direct hand of the Master.
The other horses romped freely, tossing their manes, and ate at will. They were sleek, fat, and handsome, and they did not seem to care for the Master’s work. But the two in the corral had great beauty, and they were strong and well-formed. Their muscles rippled under their glossy coats. Their eyes flashed fire, and yet they were disciplined.
The Master brought food, but they could not eat freely, for their food was measured. They could not run freely, for they were under the yoke of training.
Then I saw the great King come out of His palace, and He looked at the horses in the field. He saw the corral, and He watched the two that were harnessed. He looked at them with great satisfaction, and He said: “They are ready. Bring forth the carriage.”
THERE WERE TWO YOUNG COLTS IN THE FIELD
And again I saw the horses in the field, and lo, two young colts came running among them. They were new and untrained, full of fire and energy. They stamped their feet and tossed their heads. The other horses looked on, but were not disturbed, for they were used to seeing the young colts come in among them.
The colts ran freely among them, eating of the green grass and drinking of the clear water. They played in the sunshine, and were not restrained. But the Master came, and He looked upon them with compassion. He said, “They are young, but they too must be broken and trained for My use.”
He called His servants, and they came and drove the colts into the corral. Oh, how they fought! How they kicked and bit! They stamped their feet and they reared, and they fought against the hands of the Master. They would not yield.
But the Master said, “There is no other way. They must be broken.” So He dealt with them, until at last they yielded, and He could put His yoke upon them.
SUBMISSION AND REBELLION
Some submitted quickly and learned the lesson of submission, but others rebelled, and were punished more severely. And I saw that the punishment was not to destroy, but to discipline. The Master loved them, and He wanted them for His service. He knew what was best for them, and He would not spare them the discipline. He knew the glory that lay ahead, and He wanted them to share in it.
And I saw that some of the horses that had been trained and harnessed were being taken out to pull the King’s carriage. Oh, what beauty! How they moved in harmony! They were a team, and they were mighty in power. They moved forward at the command of the King.
But others who had refused the training were left behind. They were still in the field, eating the green grass and drinking the clear water, but they were not chosen for the King’s work.
COLTS IN THE MASTER’S CORRAL
I saw again the two colts in the corral. One of them submitted and was trained quickly. The other rebelled, and fought, and had to be dealt with more severely. But in the end, both were trained, and both were harnessed.
The Master brought them food, but it was measured. They could not eat freely as before. They had to eat what the Master gave them. They had to obey the Master’s hand, and they had to submit to His training.
I saw them being driven around the ring, and being tested with the harness. They learned obedience, and they learned to respond to the Master’s voice. At last they became submissive and disciplined. Then I saw the Master bring them forth, and they were put with the other horses that were trained.
INTO THE HARNESS
And now I saw the King’s carriage brought forth. It was a beautiful carriage, with gold and silver trim. It was strong and powerful, and it shone in the sun. The King came forth in His robes of glory, and He entered the carriage.
Then I saw the trained horses brought forth. They were harnessed together, and they pulled the carriage with strength and majesty. The King sat in the carriage, and He was well pleased. The people looked on in wonder, and they marveled at the beauty of the carriage and the power of the horses.
And the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and said: “These horses are My people. Those who are in the field are Mine also, but they are not ready for My use. Those in the corral are the ones I am preparing for My work. The harness is My dealing and My discipline, and those who submit to it will be used of Me. Those who rebel shall not share in My glory.”
INTERPRETATION OF THE VISION
The Lord made me to know that this is the hour of His preparation. He is preparing a people for Himself. He is disciplining and training them. He is bringing them under His hand. They must submit to His dealings. They must learn obedience. They must yield to His Spirit.
There will be no place in His end-time army for the stubborn and the rebellious. There will be no place for those who will not submit to His discipline. The hour is late, and the work is great. God is moving swiftly, and He is calling His people to surrender fully to Him.
The harness is His discipline. The yoke is His dealing. The bridle is His control. They are not to destroy, but to train. They are not to punish, but to correct and to guide. God is bringing His people into submission to His will, that He might be glorified in them.
A FAMINE IN THE LAND
There is a famine sweeping across the land, not a famine of bread nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11). Many are hungry and thirsty, but they know not what they hunger for. They wander to and fro, seeking food, but find none. Still the cry goes up: “Give us bread! Give us drink!” But there is no bread, there is no water.
Why? Because they will not submit to the dealings of God. They will not yield to His discipline. They will not come under His hand. Therefore they go hungry.
But those who are willing to submit to His discipline, those who yield to His Spirit, those who come into the harness — they shall be fed. They shall drink of the living water. They shall eat of the Bread of Life. They shall be satisfied.
PLENTY IN THE TIME OF FAMINE
For in the hour when famine sweeps the land, He shall feed by His own hand those who are submitted to His perfect will, and who dwell in the secret place of the Most High. When terror stalks the land, those in His harness shall not be afraid, for they shall feel His bit and bridle and know the guidance of His Spirit. When others are weak and faint and fearful, there shall be those who shall be strong in the power of His might, and shall lack no good thing.
In the hour when the traditions of the religious systems have proven false, and their streams have dried up, then His Chosen ones shall speak forth with the true Word of the Lord. So rejoice, Sons of God, that you have been chosen by the Lord for this great work in this great hour.
The fence which kept the colts in their own meadows and their own pastures meant nothing to the team in the harness, for the gates open to them, and they go forth pulling the King’s carriage into many strange and wonderful places. They do not stop to eat the poisoned weeds of sin, for they feed only in the Master’s stable. These fields they trample under their feet as they go forth on the King’s business.
And so to those who are brought into absolute subjection to His will, there is no Law. For they move in the Grace of God, led only by His Spirit where all things are lawful but not all things are expedient. This is a dangerous realm for the undisciplined, and many have perished in sin as they leaped over the fence without His harness and His bridle. Some have thought of themselves as being completely harnessed and submissive to Him, only to find that in some avenue of their life there dwelled rebellion and self-will.
Let us wait before Him until He puts His noose around us and draws us to His place of training. And let us learn of the dealings of God and the movings of His Spirit until at last we feel His harness drop about us, and hear His voice guiding us. Then there is safety from the traps and pitfalls of sin, and then shall we abide in His House forever!
